Each unit is developed and built by our parent company North American Powertrain Components and their skilled technicians. They hand build each unit to our specifications by stripping each unit down to its case and rebuilding it completely. Our Technicians go through each unit, find the weak links and build them tougher, stronger and more reliable. From the obvious of parts upgrades to our top secret additions, it’s a deadly combination that makes for one of the best heavy duty transmissions available.
But it doesn’t stop there. Once they completed, each unit, it is then put on our state-of-the-art Superflow TransDyno. And then it is load tested up to 700 foot-pounds of torque. No one in the industry can make that claim because we are the only manufacturer to have our Superflow TransDyno outfitted with a massive one-off custom electric motor to generate the torque loads we require for testing.
And if that wasn’t enough, our Heavy Hauler® automatic transmissions are put to the test in the most extreme of environments. The race track. Our Heavy Haulers™ have withstood many trips towing heavy loads uphill, many passes down the quarter mile at record times and countless hours of abuse on chassis dynos with diesel trucks laying down over 800 rear wheel horsepower!
